Where does the water drain as it runs off the windshield on my 2017 OB? I see the drain holes on each side of the plastic covering at the base of the windshield in the cowl. MY passenger side seems to drain slowly and actually ponds up. The drains (both sides) actually seem to drain into the engine compartment Many cars have a drain tube. The Subaru does not seem to have them. Just curious.

Bump
One reason I am asking is a littl concern that my fender well (mud guard area) soundproofing may be blocking cowl area drainage. I don't think so. Just checking.

Check for a buildup of leaves and debris. I'd say take it to the dealer as well.
No obvious leaves or debris. The dealer is a good idea. I may ask them how it drains.

I pulled off the passenger side cowl trim. Found it drains into the engine compartment. No visible tubes anywhere. Made the drain hole in the side cowl trim about twice as large. Should take care of any drainage concerns. However, I will watch.
