My 2008 Outback LL Bean has white goo on the wheels in the area around each center cap. At first, I thought it was scratches caused by vandals trying to remove the caps. As time went on, I saw this on other Outbacks and realized it might be some kind of adhesive seeping out from the caps. If anyone is familiar with this issue, I would appreciate any info, including suggestions on how to remove this hard stuff without damaging the wheels. Thanks!
