Well folks, it's time.

The 2020 Outback will likely debut in less than a year and rumors and speculation are bound to be afloat.

We went ahead and created this subforum to house all those juicy rumors, test car pictures with weird patterns on it, talk about all the technology it will have, and to mourn the loss of the 3.6. 0:)

Let the speculation begin!

there is to be only one engine: a new 2.5 one for subaru, that runs only on natural gas,

subaru is going to open hotdog and taco stands to refuel them via seat mounted vacuum tubes.

Hmmm.

I wonder what the bushings look like?

I guess I will have to wait.

@traildogck

if you start eating at chipolte`, while they still exist. you can start working on a turbo boost/ "push to pass gas" system.

and corner the market on aftermarket turbo designs for the FB25Fart engine.

I am not able to order bushings yet.

If they option the 2.4HT I bet the CVT mount is the same as the Ascent.

I'm kind of disappointed that tdck hasn't made inserts yet for the Gen 6.

He's really dropping the ball not having them ready yet.

I think they are the same with a different part number. Typical Subi fashion.

We can be pretty sure that everything we know about the 2020 Legacy will carry forward to the 2020 Outback. C&D has a renduring of what the 2020 Outback will look, like at https://www.caranddriver.com/news/a26236402/subaru-outback-confirmed-2020/.
I think it is a pretty fair prediction, but I think the side cladding will probaaly rise to meet the lower body line on the doors.

So, my questions are:
What will the Outback front and rear really look like?
How big will the hatch opening be? The 2019 Forester has a opening that is 48.7 inches wide- big enough to accommodate 48" wide panels.
