Hi all!

While reading the manual for my new '23 Wilderness I noticed a line saying not to put wax on the black anti-glare hood graphic. I usually hit up a drive-through car wash once every blue moon for undercarriage wash, wax, etc. - anyone know if it would really be an issue? I'm not looking for showroom perfection but also don't want to damage anything (not that I can see how it would in this case, but who knows?).

Just don't use paste wax on the sticker. Drive through car wash wax offers more "power of suggestion" than power of protection. You'll be fine.

Try one of the new ceramic waxes. They are generally safe for vinyl and black plastics. My OBW is two weeks old and i spent last weekend polishing and ceramic coating everything. Windows, trim, wheels, paint and also the hood stripe.
