Regarding the X-Mode on my 2020 Onyx Edition XT. Should I operate the X-Mode periodically? I will not be needing the X-mode during my normal driving habits. I realize that the OB is full time AWD and that probably answers my question. I am old school and when I had my '78 Jeep CJ-5 (302, 3spd) I used to turn the Warn Locking Hubs and engage the transfer case into 4 H and 4 L once a month for a couple of miles just to lubricate the driveline components.
Is there a need to engage X-Mode periodically for lubrication or any other maintenance?

X-mode is basically software controlling your AWD so I don't think so. Manual didn't seem to mention anything about. Your AWD is full time so it's not going to be unused, really.

Probably not, but it’s fun to find situations to use it just because you can.
