They fit and look great, I will post up a quick review when I get time and some more miles on them. First impression is good, they are quiet, the ride and handling is very good for a tire of this type.

same here
very well mannered on the road
Those look great!! I am planning to use my 2010 Outback for actual "out back" travel for getting into trail heads which includes light off roading, going up the mountain for snowboarding, travel into the interior of British Columbia so lots of highway driving but also rough secondary roads....

Don't want a "city" use tire at all.....

You went with 215/60/17, would the 225/60/17 fit??
Hmmm, I might have to try to catch up with you in person to see them for myself..

Someone else posted that they had the 225/60/17 and they had some rubbing issues(minor), there is very little difference in width, and the tires fit and look great on the car.
So far I am really impressed with the on-road performance of the tire.
I have them in 215/60R16 (eu spec car).

Have done a total of 15000km on them so far.
No complaints really, only high speed driving at high temps makes them a bit hot and wobbly.

It started snowing today so will give them a try tonight to see how they handle the white stuff :)
I have used this tire on another vehicle and was VERY impressed. Specifically, off-road they do a great job while still offering a quality road ride.

Cannot justify putting them on my 2010 Outback yet though. Only 50 miles on the Conti's!
Reading some of the many threads about the Conti tires, I am not sure whether to swap them out immediately and try to get a trade in amount for them.

I too have, well ordered, a 2010 Outback and have to decide if I am going with dedicated winter tires and putting on the Geo's for the other three seasons.....

225/60/17 is the factory spec size so I am hoping there will be no rubbing issues like the older models had.....

On tirerack.com, Yokohama Geolandar H/T G95A comes in 225/55R17 for Subaru Outbacks (05-09)...

How is it differ from A/T?
you should be fine with that size

My tire guy likes to wheel and deal so I may have to see if he is interested in my Conti's as a partial trade in. Anyone know the proce comparison between the two?
Alright Giddswat..

There is a storm coming to our area, calling for anywhere between 12-18 inches of the white stuff. If you should happen to go out, I hope you'll report back the details on how you like the AT-S in the snow...

The Conti's are about $102 retail US, found them for $156 retail CDN which is a total joke IMO....

Geo's are $122 US for 225/60/17 (tirerack), $149 Discount Tire.....
I just bought the 225/60/R17 Geos from www.onlinetires.com for $102/tire and $40 shipping. Great tires, only had them for about 3 days though. No rubbing on my 07 OB.
Great price, I just may have found a wholesale guy in Canada that may be able to get me 4 for $650 all in and installed.....and at a Canadian price which is INSANE!!

and from most reviews I have read, these seem very good in the snow and ice too...... :18:

Well I am totally impressed with the new tires and the Outback! I have had The GY Triple Treads on the car, and they don`t even come close when you compare them in the snow. This tire should be standard on all Outbacks, deep snow(12''), slush, packed snow, it performs great. I will be getting another 2010 Outback next year, and I will replace the stock tires with the Yokohama`s immediately.
A few pic`s.....

NICE PICS!!!!

Now that is what I like, an Outback doing what Outbacks are meant to do! :7:

Once mine arrives, I will be putting the new skins on right away and my wholesaler says he should be able to sell the Conti's for me.....if I can get $200 for all four, I would be happy.

That looked like a wicked snow storm you were in!
GYTT v. Yoko AT/S

Now that's what I like. Commitment. A firm answer that the Yokohana At/S is better in the snow than the Goodyear Triple Treads. I'll put that in my tire file for when it comes time to replace tires.

At purchase I took off the Geolanders G95 225/60/17 for the Geolander A/T-S 225/60/17. Slightly noiser on road, but fantastic on loose dirt and fine and dandy on the bitumen. Was 42C the other day and the tar in the road was melting (spraying out like water) and the tyres gripped fine. I just hope they are puncture proof to lupin and canola stalks when I drive on paddocks in a few weeks time.
