@ Jim-in-PA: Your info is very helpful! Couple questions regarding the Subaru Added Care Gold Extended Service Contract:
1. In order to qualify for coverage does the owner have to prove that the car was serviced by the book to qualify for the contract? . My 22 OB was purchased in Dec 2021. It now has 11, 500 miles (75% highway miles) & has had two oil changes (both at around 5,000 miles). That is less than once a year. Would that disqualify it for coverage?
2. If I buy a service contract & then decide to sell the car at 7 years, can I cancel the contract and get a pro-rated refund
3. Is the service contract transferable to a new owner?
4. Since I only drive about 5K / yr, a 100K contract would be overkill for me. Is there a 10 yr Gold plan with lower mileage limits? If so, what are they & what are the dealer costs for them?
