My daughter has a 2008 Subaru outback ll bean edition, i had the codes of P0700 and P1710 codes three different shop said different problems. On said change the torque converter and module. The other company said we need a rebuilt and used transmission. The third says it may be the sensor to be replace which is a quick fix. What is the exact issue if anyone knows? I am looking on this forum and alot of people stated when they got the flashing lights they needed a valve body replacement.
