New forum member here. 2005 Outback, 220k miles, manual trans. First occurrence, stopped at traffic light, when proceeding forward and stepping on gas pedal got no response. Popped hood, nothing seemed disconnected, turned engine off, restarted, throttle response fine. Two days later, similar circumstances, same results, after turning engine off and restarting seemed to solve the problem. Another day or two later, twice in one day. Daily 100 mile round trip commute to work, have stopped trusting the Sube, not driving it. Faulty throttle position sensor? Faulty oxygen sensor? Replace and or clean what parts? Hopefully without throwing money at parts in shotgun approach, hoping to eventually solve it. Opinions and or advice welcome. Thank you

Any warning lights on, or codes indicated?
Lots of posts here about the problem with the earlier version of the DBW accelerator pedal that was used in the first few years of the 2005-9 generation.
