I bought an iPhone 13 yesterday and am very disappointed with Subaru to learn that they are making no provision for the latest Apple charging connection, USB-C (to Lightning).

Few vehicles have USB-C connections. The simple solution is ... a Lightning to USB cable. There's nothing different about the iPhone. It's still a Lightning cable at the phone. The only thing that has changed is that the new phone comes with a different cable. (and no charger) If you want to use an existing Apple charger, you need a different cable...the same one that you'd need in your Subaru. Subaru has provided the necessary power...you need to provide the connection from your personal device.
