Started today after a long drive. Nothing is on that I can see door alarms are armed. Been doing for over 5 hours now. Wife may have opened the door early but I had the brake on. Any ideas ?

This is really weird. I’ve checked the 2018 Outback manual (not sure what generation your is) and I can’t find anything yet. This problem would drive me nuts.

If all else fails unhook the battery then hood it up again after a minute or two. Depending on the year and options on your car you may loose the radio presets and need to reset some other user options.
Solved!! Turns out it was the dying battery in the garage door opener telling me to change it out. I feel kinda dumb now. I parked right underneath the opener and could not trace the beeps. moved the car out of the garage and beeps were gone. hooray!! went into the garage low and behold there was the beeping again. ordered the new battery from amazon 1 day shipping. last one lasted 2 years and 2 monthes. Anyway thanks or your suggestions. This is my first Subaru, 2017 O B with 4 cyl engine have no regrets and really like driving it
I just went through this exact same thing. Thank God I found this thread or I would have made an idiot of myself at the dealership.
I just put a second hand drivers door on my 2004 subaru outback hooked all up all of a sudden beeping noise been going continuously last couple of days any hints I can try please
