Recommended sleeper solution

Going to visit friends for a 96th birthday party and due to lack of guestrooms and distance to town, I plan on "car camping" in my '21 Outback. Just received a car tent that will give me an 8x8' tent with attaching sidewall to the open tailgate. I would prefer to sleep in the Outback, with the larger seatback flipped down. Should I make a plywood platform (30 x 70") or go with an inflatable SUV mattress, or? Get a cot riser and sleep in the tent?

Will be there for 3 nights... So. central Texas, they do have scorpions 🦂🦂🦂(scorpions, not poop emojis)...

I sleep comfortably in the back of mine with an inflatable mattress with a tent that attaches to the rear hatch.

I use Luno® | Car Camping Gear | Vehicle Air Mattress but if you going to sleep in a cold weather (probably anything less than +10C) it will be very uncomfortable because air inside this mattress will reach outdoor temperature and they don't have any insulation. As workaround I put an insulated sleeping pad on top of it

I do well on a yoga mat, but I've slept on worse.
