(2013 Outback) I was flagged down the other night driving home by someone who said my rear running lights weren't working. After pulling over and fiddling with the headlight switch on the dash, noticed that the lights were still dark and not working. Brake lights glow when the pedal is pressed. So now i'm driving in the dark with no running lights. Any thoughts? (Sidebar: I did recently have an interlock installed. Would this mess with it too?)

Are the front clearance lights working?

Front and rear clearance lights are controlled by the multifunction switch which controls the ground side of the circuit. The front and rear lights are through fuse 35 under the hood. Check there first. If it's just the rear, then you would have to look at the bulbs, the rear light harness and trailer connector for a break in the circuit.
