We have been looking at new outback’s and are trying to decide on a trim level. We didn’t care for the wilderness but loved the touring however between the premium limited and touring does anyone notice a ride quality difference or a less noisy ride from the higher trims. We don’t need all the extras that the touring comes with but we loved the way it rode. We are coming from a 14 premium so it probably was just the newer models are that much more refined but if we got a premium again would it ride as nice as a touring?

We have a 2021 Touring and a 2011 Premium. The 2011 is fairly quiet and has quiet riding tires on it (Michelin Defenders). It is amazing just how much quieter the 2021 Touring is compared with the 2011. The seats/ride quality of the Touring are also very nice. For me, at my more advanced age, I appreciated the creature comforts of the Touring over the Limited and Premium, so I went with it.
