I'm workiing on recharging my 2010 outback 2.5 a/c and want to see where all the o rings are, condenser, evaporator, radiator, etc
I'd like to get the shop manual. In the past for there was a dealership that had manuals for down loading but I can't find that link and another link for some website in japan that also had manuals. Does anybody have these links or some other where manuals are available? thanks

Adding refrigerant to automotive AC is more complicated than the ads shown on tv. Best to take your vehicle to a reputable auto repair shop that knows how to service AC correctly..

Proper service of an automotive AC system requires a Dual Manifold Gauge Set that monitors both low and high pressure sides of the AC system. Too much refrigerant in an AC system can be worse than low refrigerant.

The low side hose that adds refrigerant to the AC needs to be purged of air and moisture BEFORE being connected to the car. Moisture is deadly to AC systems. .

@bbxrider you know that anytime you open the system to atmosphere you ought to change the receiver drier, right? If not and you don't have the aforementioned gauges and you don't have a good vacuum pump, then you best leave this to someone who knows this stuff and has the tools/equipment. Not saying that isn't you, just trying to save you a lot of grief after spending $ on this if that is not you.

thanks for all the replies, I wish I could afford to go to shop or dealer, or that I had a much newer vehicle other than my 2010 with a rebuild engine, I had a fb market line to get a new vaccuum pump and dual guages for 100.00 but that got pulled at the last minute, I would have taken a chance to start this journey if I had that, so there's always driving wo a/c in a sacramento summer :((
