Had a flat a couple of weeks ago and went to put on my spare donut. Noticed it was a 17inch spare when my car has 18 inches on it. Am I allowed to run with this spare or will it damage my vehicle? Was this spare meant to be something else? I didn't run it and towed the car to get a patch but I am a little worried about being stranded. Anyone have a solution?
