Split Screen

After a short time of operation, the radio on my 2015 Outback switches to a split screen-: 1/2 is Phone info & the other 1/2 is the radio info.
I do not have a mobile phone. HOW can I get rid of this feature & stay on a full screen of the radio ONLY?

I don't remember the exact location, but there is a setting buried in the head unit menus for "auto split screen" or something similar. Try disabling that.

Hold down the Audio / Tune button in the top right to do split screen. To go back to just one, just tap the one you want to make it full screen again.

I tried this on my 18 OB Ltd and it didn't work. Can you do split screen on the 18's? My previous vehicle did split screen and I really liked it. Have nav and music details on same screen. Thanks.
