Starlink Remote Start and Ventilated Seats

So this will only be relevant to Touring/Touring XT folks, but it seems that there is no way to remote start the car via the starlink app and have the ventilated seats be enabled. Unless I'm missing something, you can only turn on the heated seats, and I've tried multiple times, even though I leave the ventilated seats on when I shut off the car and get out, if I start with Starlink they are off when I get back in. I'd imagine that the fob remote start would leave them on but I haven't verified that yet, it always seems to just leave everything how it was with the climate control system.

Anybody have any different experiences?

Outback is consistent with Ascent in this...heated seats can be controlled for remote state via StarLink (MySubaru app) but not ventilated seats.

The "Starlink" app is pretty much deprecated. MySubaru is the one that Subaru is focusing on and as noted, where remote start and other remote functions are located.

You are all correct in everything that has been said. I may not have clearly stated originally what my question was. I know that I can't adjust ventilated seats with the My Subaru/Starlink. I think I was mostly looking for affirmation that this scenario is correct.

I'm driving in my car with the ventilated seats set to level 3. I'm done driving, and I shut the car off and leave, but don't touch the ventilated seat control.
A) If I start the car, either with the push button on the dash or with the remote start fob, it leaves my ventilated seats on 3.
B) If I start the car with whatever app starts the car from my phone, it doesn't care and shuts off my ventilated seats and there is just nothing I can do about it.

n2ow your guide is very nice, but doesn't say anything about ventilated seats, unless I missed it.

Essentially since the app doesn't have a ventilated seats option to turn them on or off, when you remote start with the app, the seats are turned off automatically.
It may be that the app sends a signal to the car to turn on certain functions and anything else it doesn't control is automatically turned off. Hence why the seats don't stay on with the app.
Could also be a fail safe so the app doesn't cause a glitch and turn on the ventilated seats with every remote start. Especially if the driver doesn't want them on.
