Anyone see the autumn green metallic in person?

I initially was set on a autumn green onyx xt from the Subaru sites pics. But I saw a wilderness green 19 on the lot and wasn’t in love. The salesman said the 20 will be the same color even with the name change. Anyone see them together? My next pick was the white but it’s a pearl white. Not sure I’ll love that either. Uggg. I’ve seen way too many autumn green pics that look very different. I guess in the end only way I can make up my mind is seeing it in person. But wondering your thoughts from those that have seen the autumn green. I thought it was going to be a more military’esque green. Not kinda a grassy green.

I am wondering the same thing about paint/clear coat. I have several bird crap tattoos since I live among a jillion trees = a jillion crappy birds.

Also, where I live the green tree pollen colors our cars every year in the spring, so no need for me to go green, it happens automatically....ughh!

Yea, I agree. I think they should have called it 'Peas Green Metallic'. It looks like canned peas. Not an appealing green shade at all, to me. I think the Wilderness Green was better. The Jade Green was really pretty on the Foresters a number of years back.
They need to introduce some better colors. I think Ford has some really cool color options. That's why I went with white. It's boring, but I also think it makes the Outback visually look smaller and shows the body lines better. Plus, resale value is usually better for 'boring' colors.

The gray does look nice, but I didn't want a gray interior. I was just so tired of the sea of black, I wanted a change. The only way to get ivory interior is white, red- aka burgandy shade, green, or black exterior. So, white it was. I wish manufacturers would let you pick what interior you want with any exterior; but I'm living in a dream world. That only happens for exotic sports cars.

I wish they had a nice, dark Forest Green. Subaru seems to have a Mucous green fetish (any color of green that could be the color of nose sludge!). Who wants to drive around looking like your car has just been slimed by the Michelin man's giant toddler with a cold or could be superhero Boogerman's next ride... ;) Don't even get me started on the loose stool brown color! (Cinnamon, my a*s! Literally).

I actually like it. Those are also the body parts most likely to be damaged. I like the idea of replacing them if needed due to an accident without having to have them painted. As someone else mentioned, that area is also where a lot of your chips in your paint show up. I think all around it's a good move and I actually like the look. Of course, I'm looking at the Onyx so the black blends more with the grill, mirrors, and wheels over the other trims.

I'm going between the green and the dark grey paint on the 2.5l Touring. Definitely not getting an XT as I really don't like everything black. I think that trend is getting old and I keep my car basically forever so don't want to have to look at all that black every day for the next decade or longer.

I went back and forth between green and grey. I then placed an order for a green 2.5. A week later I asked the dealership if I can change it. They said they can place another order if need be. The next day I went back to wanting green! If you're between these two then I don't think you can go wrong with either!

Not sure where the guy in the video got 16.6 gallons from. Subaru list it as an 18.5 gallon tank. Heck that’s one of the things people love about the Outback. we would of heard an uproar in here if they made it smaller lol.
Good to know that was bad info. I didn't read any of the comments for the video. In hindsight that didn't seem like a logical move by Subaru, though with the new platform I guess anything could have been possible. The Outback is still going to have a longer range than my bladder capacity and my need to stretch a bit so all is good.
