Im having an issue with the injectors I bought to replace my originals.

There are two holes the big one and a smaller one inside the intake. Is the injector supposed to fit down into the smaller hole? The ones I got have a black cover over the tip and do not fit into the smaller hole. They also do not have the seals to fit into the bigger part of the hole in the intake. I'm thinking I have the wrong style as I read in another post their are two different styles used in the 2005 crossover year. I bought these thinking I was saving money cuz it was not much more for the rebuilt set than the o ring kit. Now I'm not sure wtf is going on as it's been too long and I can't remember even what the originals looked like only that they were a pia to get out.
If I have to buy a rebuild o ring kit I don't want to get the wrong one and I have no experience rebuilding injectors and have no specialty tools to do so.
Any insight would be greatly appreciated. Yes I know I'm an idiot lol I'm ready to be roasted so let me have it.
Here's some pics of it helps.

You should be able to pop off that black cover and then install the OEM seats/gaskets onto the end of the injector. I bought a set of refurbished injectors for my car a little while ago that had something similar...

As you can see, only one of them came with that unnecessary black cap on the tip. You can remove it using some tools (ie flathead screwdriver). Just do it carefully.

Even so, I ended up returning them because there was evidence of damage on them. Instead, I pulled a set off an outback at the local junkyard, then sent them to an injector performance shop called Witchhunter (i think) and they cleaned them, bench tested them, and sent them back with a brand new set of seals/o-rings. Highly recommended.
