Well looks like I'm now a member o the P0026 club. CEL was intermittent but steady now. Checked the left sensor and it's 7.3 ohms and the right is open circuit. My question is what is the correct part number for this sensor?
Is it ‎25240AA060?
The sensor I have seems to be a generic part with just a spade lug on top (no plastic shroud) and a spade connector on the wire. The left sensor has the proper connector on it.
Is the Beck Arnley 2111954 fully compatible?
Any other generic parts that will work?
The nearest Subaru dealer is two hours away.

TIA

Thanks for the info. So it would seem that someone has bodged the car and replaced the proper sensor with an oil light sending unit. I suspected that the switch trip point might be at a different PSI.In fairness the car has run for the last year and a half under my ownership without throwing the P0026 code. I guess I'll have to scrounge up the right connector an solder it in place as well as ordering the correct sensor..

Here's a pic of the oil pressure sensor that is on here now. Looks like a standard oil light switch. I'm picking up the correct sensor tomorrow and hopefully that will do the trick. Solenoid still appears to be functioning.
