When I turn OFF my car it is showing a RED silhouette of the car with what looks like a drive train maybe... it only illuminates for a short time so I can't really tell . I can't find it in a manual. I live on an island and bringing it to a Subaru dealer is a haul and half..including ferry tickets and more than one day... Can anyone help me? It is located at the bottom center of the panel when it illuminates just AFTER I have turned the ignition off. Recently I had problems with my steering fluid and was advised they would have to pull the engine to fix it... I had someone fix it without doing that and it is not leaking and seems to be running ok in that area. Thanks if you can help.

I sent the picture to a Dealer and I'm waiting to hear back BUT I think and hope you are right... I did find another picture of a ( different era) subaru key fob icon which was different BUT the key looked exactly like the one you saw ... I kept thinking is that a key? but as it was inside of a car I kept of COURSE thinking drive train... Thank you BobGee.. I hope you are right... thanks for your time.. People are almost as stingy with their time as they would be with Gold and I get that but helping others is always great fertilizer for Karma :)
