Don't know if anyone needs these or not anymore, but I've been working on a new head unit for my 2015 outback and picked these up along the way.
It took weeks to gather all of this. I couldn't find one localized place to go to. So i figured id make a post about it. Hope it is of use to others.

Thanks, too; I have a Gen5 2017 OB 2.5, after bleeding brakes (after new Master Cyl )and new pads, had to jump start at mechanic's garage and now no Eyesight, ABS, E-brake, cruise control and RF pwr. window out. Tried new battery, no effect. Also tried batt disconnected, no effect. Since the warning lights, etc, only started after jump start, I haven't found the ABS fuses or relays- Any suggestions? About 60K, cars starts and works fine except for above

I’m wondering if it’s possible to take the hvac controls from a 2017 outback and put them in a 05 legacy both have dual zone automatic temperature controls. I know the obvious things that will not be similar connectors pin outs but can it be done?

Greetings And A Big Thanks Out To You. Like many Subaru Outback owners, my existing infotainment system is crap and I am preparing to replace it with an Idoing Head Unit. Yes, I am both nervous and intimitated with the multiple strands of wiring and Idoing doesn't provide the "hand holding guidance" of do this "first", do this "second", don't connect this, yatta yatta. I have downloaded the wonderful grouping of information that I will crawl through but wondered if you in your adventure might have come across a web site or fellow Subaru Owner who might have provided the "do this first, second, third" guidance I mentioned. Truly, I am not an idiot but this replacement seems a bit deep and any lifeline would be welcomed. And I would like to do this installation correctly. Thanks again for the input as you have done all the time and effort legwork; absolutely fantastic, but any other assistance to help my cause would be a definite God Send!!! Thanks In Advance. GP
