Oil and oil filter capacity 5.1 USqt, 4.4 Imp qt
Oil- synthetic required, 0w-20

 

Spec is 5.1 qts with filter. I just put 5 qts in it and is fine.

 

The power beast known as the 3.6, takes 6.9. I put in 7 and roll happily down the road.


How much is a 10th of a quart? 6 tablespoons.


On second thought, maybe I should send you my extra 10th.

 

Dealership puts in 5.1 quarts and charges for 6 quarts.

In addition to all of the above, it can also seriously depend on which drain plug you choose to use...



More than a few DYSelfers (and so-called professionals at QuickyLube places, too) have drained the CVT on these cars and then simply dumped in the 5 Qts of synthetic 0W-20 and drove away. In this case 5 Qt is the wrong amount in the wrong place.
