I have a 2018 3.6 Limited. A few weeks ago, I started getting the TPMS warning light illuminating on the dash after driving for a while. It will blink a bit, then solidly illuminate. I also get the "see owner's manual" text on the dash. However, when I select the TPMS display for the individual wheels, all pressures seem to be accurate. I have ensured that all tires are inflated several psi above the door jamb recommended values. From researching other similar posts, most folks seem to think that at least one wheel's transmitter battery is low. This seems reasonable except for the fact that all the wheels have the correct pressures indicated. Is this a system bug, and indeed at least one transmitter needs to be replaced? I want to avoid going to the dealer as the manual recommends.
Also, I only have 12,000 miles on the original Bridgestones; they are in great shape and do not appear to need replacement. Is it worthwhile to just get the TPMS transmitters replaced, or should I just wait until I replace the tires? I have no idea what it costs to just replace TPMS transmitters.
