The 2023 Outback is equipped with 2.4 amp USB-A and 3.0 amp USB-C ports both at 5 volt according to the owner's manual. However, the manual doesn't say much more about the specifications of these ports.
Laptop charging: Does anyone know (have you tested it), can the 2023 Outback's USB-C port serve as a "PD" (power delivery) port that can charge USB-C powered laptops? From my experience, not all USB-C chargers will be recognized by a USB-C powered laptop (hence the question).
Thumb drives with .mp3 music: Can the 2023 Outback's infotainment system play mp3 music from a USB thumb drive? If yes, which USB port does the thumb drive need to be plugged into?
What else can these USB ports be used for?
