Hi all. Does anybody know how many lumens are needed for the sun visor LED lights? I've found several after market LED bulbs but they vary form 28 lumens to 800 lumens. Would I also need to replace the current plastic covers? The map and dome light use a clear see through plastic.

I have the DD vanity lights in Warm White (3000K). They are a little brighter than stock at 16 lumens, but not overbearing. They're a little more expensive than other brands, but I'd still recommend them.
I swapped in the DD warm LEDs for the factory bulbs. It is muy, muy importante to get a warm tint. Do not get a cool tint or anything above 4k.
The reason is because it throws off the color and when the wife uses the cool blue LEDs to put on makeup, she gets out of the car looking like a Goonie. Avoid the Goonie.
Warm color. I went with the 24 lumen LEDs. Very happy with them.
