I trust no axle in a Subaru other than a Subaru (or Subaru rebuilt like MWE) based upon past lousy experiences.

 

Moog is certainly not bottom of the barrel as far as aftermarket parts go, but subarus seem to have funny problems with axle fitment. Specifically the splines (I guess). You would probably be fine, but i guess they can cause noise.

Seems OK so far. They did only the right side and now no noises there. Question will be how long it lasts. I only drive 8,000 miles per year so less than average. Might get left done under my aftermarket warranty which I got for free. Would have done right side that way at Subaru but dealer never gave me a chance.

 

I have used NAPA axles a few times and never had any issue. They run about fifty bucks and carry a lifetime warranty. I am not saying factory axles are bad; they are just a little pricey for what you are getting.
