I removed mine for cleaning a few weeks ago. The service manual says you have to remove the intake manifold, but you don't. You do have to drain some coolant. There are two 10mm bolts holding the "multi function duct" (the bit behind the throttle body) to the pcv system underneath the manifold. The main engine harness is clipped to this part of the pcv system too. It is fiddly to get to these bolts but it is possible with a slim 10mm spanner (wrench) it's easier to get to the drivers SIDE bolt (US) if you remove the purge valve first. Remove the air intake and throttle body first, then the two fiddly 10mm bolts, then the 4 bolts holding the intake duct to the manifold. You have to disconnect two small coolant pipes and the pcv pipe. The egr pipe also has to be disconnected. The egr valve electrical connector is probably easier to disconnect after you've loosened the duct from the manifold. The egr valve is underneath. Some photos of mine before and after. Good luck👍
