Fitting 215/70R16 tyres to 2000/2001 Subaru Lancaster(outback) 3.0 H6

I have a 2000 Subaru Lancaster H6 - Which in terms of specs and features is just a 2001 Subaru Outback and want to know if it would possible to fit 215/70R16 tyres. I was considering the General Grabber AT2 tyres Grabber AT2

I am looking at fitting the 1" lift from these guys Subtle Solutions or the 1.25" front and rear from here Primitive Racing Performance Parts

If I cannot squeeze these in other options I could consider - but harder to find suitable tyres in are

205/70R16 or 215/65R16 or 225/65R16

Has any one here done this before or got any feedback, advice or pointers?

If you go to discount tire's website you can see optional tire sizes. I looked up a 2001 outback wagon and it looks like 205/65 and 215/65 are the only options for the 16 inch rims

215/65/16 will definitely fit. 205/70/16 probably will fit. 215/70/16 I'd expect rubbing issues.

Thats what I thought might be the case, Given the General Grabbers dont come in either of those sizes whats my best option. 205/70/16 seems fairly uncommon

Can you get find Yokohama Geolander A/T-S? They come in a few of those sizes, and are comprable to the Grabbers in my opinion.

I'd go with the Geolanders, lots of debate between those and the grabbers and it seems to be up to opinion. I have them in 215/65/16 on my 05 outback
