Before I started I adjusted my seats to a comfortable position for working around in the cab. I also opened all my doors and the rear gate so I wouldn’t have to hassle with manually opening it through the rear hatch later. I did that prep and then disconnected the battery. There are several airbags tucked into the trim so I wasn’t about to start poking and prodding around with the power still connected

It’s ideal to have a trim removal kit for this job I’m sure you could manage without one but I wouldn’t do it without.

I worked from the front to the rear so the first steps will be unclipping and removing the grab handles. I used a small flat wedge to put upward pressure on the cover and a small flat head to push in the tab up top.

Next I removed the visors. Remove the plastic concealer plate then unscrew the Philips screws underneath and carefully pull directly downwards to separate the clips. At this point I unclipped the wires and completely remove the visors.

The visor clip is easy just press in the release from both sides and it pops right out.

Now I move to the overhead center console box. Start by removing the bolts in the sunglass storage compartment.

Once those are out I could pull the whole unit loose using a wedge to pop the clips. This image shows where the clips are located.

Last step in removing the overhead console is disconnecting the wires then is was completely free.

I didn’t take photos of a few steps but I did find a drawing to help with these missing steps

Next I removed the plastic trim starting with the A pillar nearest to the windshield this is held in by two snaps and easily pulls away. PARTIALLY removing the weather striping from the door frame will expose a workable gap in the trim

To fully remove the head liner I had to have unclip these cables concealed under the “A pillars”

After the “A pillars” and the cables have been removed I moved onto the “Door pillars” where the seatbelts are located. These trim panels should Unclip with moderate pressure just like the other parts. It’s not necessary to fully remove the trim so I only pulled it away enough to access the screw holding the header in place.

the above image shows Philips head screws that need to be removed in order to release the head liner, the other arrows I drew indicate how those part need to register when it’s time to reassemble the parts and put everything back together.

Now I moved to the back seat and repeated the steps to remove the hand grips

Next I removed the overhead lights this was the same for the overhead trunk lights so I removed those too while I was at it.

Now that the lights are removed the only thing really holding the headliner in place is the remaining rear trim parts(trim c,d, roof end cover).

I fully removed the “roof end cover” but for the other 2 trim parts I pulled them away just enough to maneuver the liners out and away

Now I just pulled the seatbelt guide free from the headliner and Unclip it so I could free the buckle

Last step is just unclipping the wire then it’s onto slowly easing the liner out
