There is something called "memory initialization" that will completely reset your infotainment system, including your radio stations, all customizations, carplay, etc. Can't say if it would resolve this but you could try it and see.

In dealership mode under settings there is memory initialization shown around 7:53 in the video.

 

The instructions for the software update dealer mode was to use the RIGHT side buttons, and the guy above used the left ones, so guess either side works fine.

 

Thanks for the idea about trying 'memory initialization', but unfortunately the message still comes up on startup even after doing that.

 

1. Get the Feb 2024 software update.
2. If that doesn't work, there is a software reset available without having to go into dealer mode. This might help, but realistically getting the software update will most likely do the trick.

 

Call the dealer make them sort it out.

 

Use the starlink call button and see if that doesn't stop it from reporting. Maybe it's expecting you to test the system before it's decided it is completed it's job.

 

Thanks for the suggestions everyone. Unfortunately I'm still getting the message after:

• Upgrading to the February 2024 firmware. (But on the bright side, CarPlay connects a lot faster)
• Doing a Factory Reset this morning.
• Pressing the blue i-button next to the sunglasses holder and then canceling the call. (I didn't want to necessarily let someone on the other end answer and waist their time, but maybe that'd be needed. Not sure.)

Oh well. I'll probably just live with it for now and if I need to bring the car into the dealership for any other reason, I'll ask about this message then.

 

Update: The message seems to have gone away on it's own. Maybe it just goes away after about 5 days?
