Did you try putting x-mode on the top of the screen? Swipe sideways at the top of the screen to choose different things.

 

While recognizing this option does not work on OP's Limited, putting it here for others to reference....

The top of the screen x-mode button is shown at the top of the display any time you activate the forward facing camera (applies to Onyx and Touring Trims).

 

+1, the Car button on the bottom left should be your one-stop shop for anything you need "right away" during driving.

Remember, X-Mode will automatically disable once you exceed a certain speed, depending on the mode you've selected. That being said, first-hand experience in "Snowpacalypse" outside NYC area in January/February 2021, and I used X-Mode to get going on inclines. I probably didn't need to use it at all. Car did great, even after it turned off due to forward speed.

Ya i never use it in mine 12mph it cuts out on all but the wilderness. I just upgraged tires and moved on

 

When I put the vehicle in reverse it comes up on the top, also anytime I just swipe what I think is called the widget bar and it’s at the end past weather and departure slope.

 

I also see it when is on reverse but is gone in drive.

You could add a shortcut to your mainscreen.
