Removed Sun Visor 'Warning' Stickers - Cleaning Tips for Remaining Residue?

The warning stickers on the sun visors started mildily annoying me yesterday, so I removed them from both the driver and passenger side.

The fallout from this is that I now have a small area of remnant sticky residue left on the cloth, as seen below. It's not sticky, but it's got a sheen/gloss to it, and ultimately I'd like to remove if possible.

Thoughts? Suggestions? Thanks!

I wouldn't necessarily consider my area significantly lighter, although it's definitely a shade, possibly two, lighter. Plus I think over time as you use the visor, the sun will fade it to a more even color.

However...definitely want to address that corner residue!

I must admit, I was skeptical after initially reading this...however I decided to try it because it seemed the least intrusive and posed the lowest risk to cause fabric damage (think putting liquid of some sort onto the area).

Low and behold...the packaging tape WORKED! It was very cold this morning, so not sure if that helped or hindered the effort, but I simply applied the tape a few times, pressed firmly on the back of the tape to ensure it got a good hold, and, voila!

Thank you!
