First off I have a lowered 07 Outback on Megan Coilovers. 40K on them and they need rebuilding. I can't see putting in the stockers back in and I still want a lowered look, so....I want to put a set of either stock legacy wagon/sedan suspension(same no?) OR a set of Spec B's in. Rather than trying to dig to Japan trying to find if it's possible in this forum can someone tell me if it's possible to swap these out? I've seen a an outback on legacy suspension but was not sure if it was a set of spec b's or not. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I'm interested in buying either a set of new or used struts springs and tops hats. I currently have a set of spec b top hats so I'll need everything else. Thanks in advance for any help anyone is willing to provide me in my search.

Bilstein HD struts, 2009 Spec-B top hats and spring perches, and JDM Spec-B Revision-C Wagon springs. I have a 3/8" spacer in the rear and my ride height sits at 14.5" in the rear and 14.75" in the front. I am going to make a set of 1" rear spacer and a set of 3/4" front spacers so my ride height will be 15.5" all around.

A 15.5" all-around ride height will look something like this:

Here are the part numbers I used:

The Bilstein's are Bilstein part numbers. I got them from Tire Rack.

The 203 part numbers are Subaru part numbers.

I found my springs by dumb luck on LegacyGT.com. They belonged to the original car in Japan, a member in the US who only drove them for a little while, someone else who never drove them, and then me.

Springs don't REALLY wear out, so I'm not too concerned. I'll probably replace them eventually, but I don't know what springs I'd want to replace them with. I'll probably go with Pink springs.

I doubt you'll be able to find these springs. They are rare, even in Japan. They are Spec-B wagon springs, which didn't exist in the USA.

I spent a LONG time trying to find the right springs for my Wagon. Eventually, I'd like to remove all of the "Outback" spacers and run Pink springs. That would effectively turn my Outback into a LGT Wagon.

I haven't dug deep enough to find out what parts actually need to be replaced in order to accomplish this though.

Ya, going thru all of that just to have a legacy wagon would be a pain. I like being able to raise and lower the car when I feel like it. wondering if spec b sedan springs will work. I'm guessing they will as I don't want to use aftermarket springs that drop the car any further than a stock legacy. I have seen a wagon that had a stock legacy suspension on it and it looked pretty good. Not sure how it drove but I'm guessing the spec b spring rates are stiffer than the crappy outback stuff. gonna see if I can find a set of those springs.
