When I go into gear the car feels like it is going to stall, it has stalled a few times. This is a replacement trans that was just put in a couple of months ago. ( junk yard probably)

any dents in the trans pan? There are harnesses , connectors, solenoid stuff very close in there.
Could be the torque converter lock-up is not releasing.

There should be a warranty on the transmission replacement, provided a shop did the repairs. If it was a junkyard replacement, then you might be out of luck, but if it was a reman, perhaps you might have some success discussing your issues with your shop. Best of luck!

So 3 subaru dealers said that it needs to be reflashed and then relearned. I took it to ciocca and they cleaned the throttle body and said the power steering switch was not plugged in. Still doing it, what does that switch have to do with RPM dropping like that when shifting? Why didn't they do the reprogram first?
