was that a real tow company ? with a truck / flatbed?

or just one of their friends. (...I remember a while back reading a thing about AAA people helping other AAA people)
I can't remember if AAA was going to pay anything to the volunteer.

and with just the pump I have carried with me for years. I have loaned it out at least 5x to friends/ neighbors / co-workers.
(leaky valve stems/ and lost rim seals, that I could not fix with a puncture repair kit).

and I still carry regular jumper cables and a lithium ion pack.

(I put them in a plastic milk crate / cardboard box/ ...and switch them from car to car just based on what I am driving that day)
He was AAA all the way.

Yes, according to the AAA handbook.
Yep have them in the car ready for our up coming road trip, my Ins agent ask if we're members for the discount on car ins, AAA has discounts on hotels and travel too. Been a member for over 25 years. AAA even towed the car back from the drag race once, 98 miles, when my son broke an axle.

AAA even helped with hotel reservations, airline tickets, cruise ship, etc. They also send out a nice Travel Magazine a few times a year.

Oh, here in CT, they also handle some drivers licensing, and passport photos. If I want a road map, I walk in and grab the state map I want. Lots of benefit's others don't have.
