Just like the 5th gen thread, let's get the price thread going to track prices and MSRPs.

I've appreciated everyone sharing their experiences. With the reveal of the 2026 redesign, I found myself tempted to snatch up a 2025 Wilderness. Made a call to my nearest dealer (SE Texas) and was told the best deal they're offering is MSRP, hah. The search will continue, but I'm not sweating it too bad despite the state of the industry, other things; hopefully I get lucky. (y)

I just bought a 2025 Premium for a little more than $5k off MSRP on March 28th. I also added the 5 year 100k mile gold plus extended warranty for $1,450 with $100 deductible. I financed the whole amount at 1.9% for 4 years as the money I had been saving to buy it is earning 4.25% so why throw away 2+% of interest money? The total number below is my out the door price, not including the warranty or the 5 year Starlink that I got for $250.

Found great value in this forum prior to my purchase. Returning the favor, so to speak.....

Recently purchased a 2025 Outback Touring XT....autumn green with java interior. I specifically wanted this color combo. One popped up at my local Florida panhandle dealer and was gone in 2 days (before I could get there to take a look). I tried ordering through the same dealer but they would not yield on the price. (Well, if they can sell it in two days, who can blame them.)

Same trim and color showed up on the website of my nearest Alabama dealer. I made contact online and after days of back-and-forth offers and counters (via email), we had a deal.

MSRP with hitch and accessories: $46,370
Out-the-door, including taxes, fees and everything: $46,148
No trade-in.

Experience at the dealership was excellent. No surprises or baloney add-ons. Genuinely nice folks, too.

FWIW, considered paying cash but no additional break on price. Took 1.9% financing for 48 mos. If my "cash" continues to earn 4% or so in a money market, I'll net over $1800 on the rate difference. That is the equivalent of a further $1500 discount on the day of purchase.

FWIW #2. The Outback is replacing my 2002 Ford Sport Trac that I bought used (for cash) and have driven daily for over 21 years. Cleaning out all the storage and cubby holes is like going through a time capsule. Gotta admit, I still love the look of that truck!

How do I find out the invoice pricing?

I am looking at a 2.5i Limited thats already coming with the following options (some of which I dont want)

Weathertech liners ($233 - is the the same as the all weather liners on the accessories list? if so its more than whats listed when you build a new Outback online)
Wireless charger ($347 - I heard this sucks and I dont really want it)
Exterior Auto Dimming Mirrors ($307 - This wouldnt be something I would choose to pay for)
Rear Seatback protector ($155)
Rear Bumper Cover ($179)

Salesguy said MSRP is $40,611 and his "best price" is $37,234 + taxes and fees(I will ask more about the fees).

Seems like I could do better? WDYT? I'm in Burlington VT so demand is high here.

I think I could get a $500 loyalty coupon if i called SoA. Last time they sent me one for $1500 and I didnt even ask! But I heard they dont go that high anymore. I am a Costco member so if that would help me I could go that route. I'm not positive on the Costco pricing process though and if its going to make a difference.

Last time I bought a new outback (10 years ago) I emailed like 5 dealers and asked for the best price. In my email I had put the invlice price for the car (I forget how I got that?) Ended up going with one about an hour away and this dealership came would not match the price, then they came back a week or so later and said they would and I had to tell them it was too late and I already put a deposit down with another dealer.

Thanks for the help!

I was all set on road tripping to Grand Subaru for a smoking hot deal on a 2025 Wilderness. But, the 700 mile round trip was not appealing for me, so I kept it local. A few bucks more (albeit the one I bought was $1k higher price MSRP sticker.) No big deal, SOA gave me a $250 coupon on parts or labor. I'd already done the deal over the phone, so getting a $1k coupon was out. Again, no big deal.

2025 Outback Wilderness in pearl white
Standard Option 21

MSRP $43177
My price $38550 (net after the coupon)
My 2022 Premium trade in $25000 (clear title)
$10k cash down payment
~$5200 financed for 36mo @ 1.9%

I'll have it paid off before the end of the year. Some of the crap in the Option 21 package is ridiculously priced, but whatever. She's mine and I really like it. finally, TURBO!! :D

Edit 09/06/2025: And, we're paid off! (late Aug 2025.) Sweet! And also wanted to add still love'n the new whip. Great ride, glad to have nailed a 25.. the 7th gen's are completely different!

Just closed on a 2025 Touring XT.

Factory hitch installed (installed at the dealer... was not delivered with the hitch)
Standard option 41
- Ext Auto Dimm mirrors
- Ext side molding
- All weather floor liners
- LED Door projector

And because I've read folks calling Subaru of America for a loyalty coupon... I gave that a shot and told them this will be my sixth Subaru. Got a $1K coupon :).

MSRP (does not include the hitch as I told them I wanted that added to the deal): 45215 including destination

Total 42k
With coupon 41K.

I'm satisfied with that. Figure the OEM hitch plus the install is close to 1k.

A $1K loyalty coupon. Nice grab. When I called they told me $750 was the most they could offer. This was going to be my fifth Subaru. I was happy with that though. Guess I'll have to buy another one, just to see if I can score that elusive $1K coupon.

On Saturday bought a 25 Touring from Grand Subaru in Chicago. $42783 sticker for 36619. Flew in from DC to make the deal and drove it back, best deal in DC area was 5000 under sticker and they were not even close on extended warranty either. Got a 10/100/0

Great experience with Ramon, absolutely love the car. Green with Java

Have the police been round to your house, since you stole that car?
