Timing chain cover

Im trying to get the timing chain cover off. Fb25 2013 . How many bolts is holding this on. Is there a diagram somewhere. Does the motor mounts need to cone off to get to some.

Right side partial cover has 4 or 5. No need to remove anything. This only allows you to take a peek at the belt. For the complete cover removal about 12 bolts and you need to remove all belts, then harmonic balancer, which requires a special tool. A oit 45 bucks at Amazon.
That is the EJ25 engine with the plastic cover and timing belt.

I made a mistake fb25, i am learning as i go. I seen the mark on top of the engine

Thank you, we bought this car for 8g and have had more engine problems. Just trying to get it running

32 bolt and alot of rtv gasket holding it on watch Mr Subaru vids on that on YouTube...
I replaced my chain tensioners diy with the engine in the car exhaust pipe, front engine mount has to come off you will need jack stands and be prepared to do alot of cleaning.. not for the novice tune up mech but if you have a basic knowledge and auto mechanics you can do it..
I went back with a DNJ tensioner kit fixed the problem now I have a oil burning issue so looks like JDM time of the Valvoline restore and protect don't loosen up oil ring
