I would greatly appreciate any info about how to turn off the split screen option. I've read the info about the split screen in the NAV manual but it doesn't say how to go back to one screen. It seems intuitive to push the "split screen" button again....but that only brings me to a screen where I can choose if I want the audio or phone screen.

Thank you!!!

If you press one of the buttons next to the screen such as menu, nav, info, etc. it should return to "one screen".

Thanks very much, Scoobs and Kentucky Outback! I had tried both of those methods but still had the split screen. I found a post on the Legacy forum that had the answer! ".... page 178 of the Navigation System manual. hit the home button > Settings > General > hit the down arrow once > uncheck "auto change to split screen".

Thanks again!

Thanks @CelticRose for sharing this. The manual tells you how to activate split screen. There should be some mention made about the option to "auto-change to split screen" in the options menu. I kept hitting the button and it would go to one main screen and 7 seconds later, it would switch to split screen mode.

I like split screen mode when traveling somewhere new so I can have the map on. But in town, I just want radio controls.

Thank you so much. As my car doesn't have navigation system installed ( I much prefer to use the apps on my phone since it has real time updates regarding traffic, road closures, weather, etc.) I was at a loss as to how to fix this. This should be included in the general manual but is not as others have pointed.
