What are the chances any of you guys have the service manual for the McIntosh PF-2520I-A head unit? I'm attempting to repair one for a friend of mine. The symptom is that it is stuck in "CALL" mode. When I took it apart I initially didn't find anything wrong with it. Then after MUCH closer examination (geez there are some tiny parts in here!) I found a blown capacitor, a possible blown resistor, and potentially a diode that no longer exists. Just some burned out through holes in the PCB.

(in north american spec years: 2003-2004 are the same, 2001-2002 had cassettes)
the best detail oriented posts out on the internet are usually from Aussie / Kiwi people on McIntosh.
the Mc head and the Mc amp are partners, ...so look at the typical issues there too. (same thing on spec years,..2 types)
@botenredwolf has worked on them and read up on them, and he is a audio engineer person.
and VDC people here squirreled away parts to them. ( @Glennda5id @idosubaru maybe )

testing to see if this works, ...sort by date in the upper right . (one of my last posts was to SLI. net about the factory service manuals,). but rolling back through the threads might yield something too, or better searching.
(and people type MacIntosh too,...although there is no "a" in the stereo name)

I never found an internal schematic either. Couldn't find anyone that repaired them either. That's why I just went with the Clarion I have in the VDC now.
And just in case you haven't figured it out yet, McIntosh is made by Clarion.
Maybe you could find something somewhere that's been posted in the last few years.
