2.5L SOHC valve interference

I know that the DOHC models are interference engines but not sure about the SOHC.
I am due to change the timing belt now but want to try to leave it for a couple of months if the engine is non interference

SOHC is also interference.

the timing belt did not fail on this engine. probably the tensioner. 6 bent valves 98,000 miles

The only H4 they put in the Outback that wasn't interference was the 2.2 in the Manuals in 1996. Everything since has been interference.
