No cover on bottom of bell housing?

(I thought I posted this through my phone but must be lost.)
2014 OB 3.6R
Changing some oils, I saw that the bottom of the bell housing is open showing the starter ring gear.
There does not look like there are empty bolt holes or clips to hold a cover! The opening is tucked in over the X-member, but OPEN?
Anyone know if this is stock the way it is?

i don't think they're always covered, MT's usually are though. not a big deal.

you can look up the exploded parts diagram and see if it's included or check your dealers lot and see what all those have.

I'm not certain if you're talking about this bottom cover nor if 3.6 or 2.5 carry the same bottom cover. I checked for the part online. it looks like #59020B. Can someone verify if this is(it looks like)the missing bottom piece?

No cover on bottom of bell housing?
