I’ve been a forum lurker for a few months. And, I’ve read most of the posts on lifts. When I searching for the end of the internet, I saw a new kit with a 5 year/60k warranty from ReadyLIFT. They avoid the sub frame spacers by offsetting the strut spacers. Thoughts?

I saw this one too and they advertise it as a 2 inch made of steel but the details state that it is 2 inch on the front and 1.5 on the rear.
On their website it actually says 1 inch on the rear in the overview but in the details says 1.5 so not sure which is accurate.
front and rear sway bar brackets to relocate end links.

Just to chime in, mine was installed by our local dealership. From my understanding, it retains the factory ride. Drove it today for 75 miles, and It rode smooth on the street and highway. (It was like driving a stock) The thing to consider would be your choice of tires, the more aggressive it is, more road noise. (The KO2s are def louder than stock, but coming from jeeps, Im used to it lol) So far, we’re happy with it and no complaints with the Readylift kit.

Interested in hearing how it goes. Will you install it yourself? I read thru the installation directions, seems almost doable for me. Only thing I didn't like was the need to bore out the holes (for the struts I think it was? maybe wrong). But maybe that's not such a big deal. Pics of finished product would be great!

ReadyLIFT Lift

Well we finally had a warm, sunny day today....so I gave in to my lusty desires and installed my Readylift kit.

Took about 4 hours start to finish, and no real surprises or issues. I pulled the QuickJack out onto the driveway, the extra room made a huge difference.

Re-torquing the rear suspension bolts after setting it back on the wheels was looking a bit of a faff, but I decided to roll the back of the car up on some ramps - suspension still loaded, but lots of room to reach everything.

Need to have the alignment done yet, but happy with the results ?

Looks great! How’s it drive? Did you get any wobbling?

since the readylift doesnt address or mess with the rear subframe how close are those rear tires to the front of the rear wheel well? with a 235/60, it looks pretty **** close. i like that they dont mess with the rear subframe, but at the same time re-centering the rear wheels would be ideal in my opinion

I haven't measured the actual dimensions, but attached are 'before' (first picture of each side) and 'after' (second picture of each side) lift pictures to compare...it seams a minimal change at best.

Between the two upper control arm mounting points, the lower control arm, and the front lower control arm, unless the rubber mounts are severally stressed (and they do not appear to be as the bolts we're not difficult to install), the suspension effectively maintains the proper distance.

Is the rear wheel centered? No.
Was it centered before the lift? No.

Heights are at the plastic engine cover (10") and bottom of my trailer hitch (13.6")

Glad to hear you’re experiencing no wobbles. Really want to pull the trigger myself but I was just looking on the readylift page, and there is someone who posted there that they are experiencing a 15-20 mph wobble after installing this kit. Makes me really wonder now what the cause of the wobble is.

So I recently installed the Readylift and I am getting the shudder at 18-20 mph :-(
My '15 OB has 63K on the ODO. I'm gonna order and install the CVT mount inserts from Chris. I'm hoping that will help.

No! Sorry to hear.. I’m a little afraid to install mine now as my OB has almost the exact same miles as you. That’s weird because I thought the wobble wouldn’t be caused by this kit. How bad is it?

Well I have good news, got the ready lift kit finally installed today. Was a bit harder than I anticipated but I got it done, and it drives just like stock. Best part is NO SHIMMY despite my car already having 69K miles on the cv axles.

One thing to important note about these kits, be wary of the kit your getting not correctly fitting. Apparently they don’t machine their kits. I bought a refurbished one off amazon and shortly after read a scary review where someone said the front passenger spacer wouldn’t fit over the strut. When I got the kit I realized that the person had installed the front spacers and not touched the rear. I immediately ordered another new kit to have when I was doing the install, and thankfully I did because the front passenger spacer wouldn’t fit on the strut. I’m almost positive I got the same kit that the person returned. The other kit I got though was fine, and that’s the first time I heard of it happening so it may just a one time fluke on their part. Overall I’m super happy with the lift though, gives me just the extra amount of comfort on the trail that I wanted.

Happy to report no wobble at all (knock on wood). Drove pretty far at speeds between 15-25 just to check and it was completely smooth. Felt good on the freeway also at higher speeds. I have close to 69K miles on mine too. Makes me think that the wobble is really only caused by subframe spacers.

Sorry for slacking on an update. I installed the kit with just over 5k miles. I have since put another 8k. The ride is very close to stock...slightly firmer now (probably more attributed the wheel and tire change). I haven't experienced any of the speed wobbles. So far so good. Honestly no issues so far.
