hey all,
i recently picked up a 1999 legacy outback with the 2.5L. its had all kinds of work done, including headgaskets, water pump, etc...my problem is that the car is dog slow!!!! with the pedal planted leaving work, i was almost rear ended because the car just wouldnt go..it did accelerate, but no where near what i think it should have...it seems like it takes forever to get up to speed..ive never owned a "sports car", so its not like my judgement is off on how fast it should be (ive only owned a couple of automatic hondas, but even they were faster off the line than the subaru..), but im kinda shocked..is this just me, or are these cars really that slow off the line?
