My '05 OBW has 12,500 so far, but spring climbing is just starting up out here. I'll be rolling into the shop for the 30k in no time.

Sorry about that, its in miles, my dad had the car first but ive put over 14k on it since July 2004.

 

You are definitely the member with the highest mileage, by probably 20k or so! That's really awesome to know.

Has there been any significant problems with the car, ie...Head Gasket failure?

 

This car has been really good. The only problem we had was when my dad had an accident and banged up the front end. The problems we had with it after that (we had to replace the ABS wire harness and the air bag harness too) was because of the accident my mechanic said. We have replaced the clutch recently (at about 186k when we did both harnesses) and the car doesn't even leak oil. I am still amazed that it doesn't leak some. Lets hope it stays this way because I am in college and need it to last as long as possible .

Just hit 13k on our '05 Legacy (sorry, not an Outback, my bad). Had it just 5 months now ...

 

I had 147k on my '97 outback when I traded her in in January. 6 1/2 months later I seem to have only racked up 4k miles on my '05, even though I opted to pay extra for a 15k mile/yr lease... Now that my GF has a nice 4d sedan instead of a truck, we very well might end up using her vehicle on road trips too.

99,200- i put on about 12k a year, i expect to run this one into the ground in another 10 years or so...unless this 2.5 is a real piece- a 2.2 with a stick would be my ideal, but when you can get a deal, go for it

 

Just thought I'd give you guys an update on the mileage on my '98 OB. It just passed 208,000 miles this afternoon. Still running strong too!
